We look forward to another season of outstanding musical talent for 2023/2024. Here’s the quick-look list of dates and bands.
Young Original is a 5-piece acoustic band with a passion for breathing new life into classic American music. Since forming in 2022, they’ve delighted audiences across the midwest with their riveting live shows, and dynamic performance videos that have racked up millions of views online. The band features a striking combination of incredible instrumental mastery (on the piano, guitar, mandolin, dobro, accordion and cello) and equally stunning vocal harmonies.
Each member of Young Original is a stunning performer in their own right: Benjamin Morren is a firebrand pianist and composer who plays too many instruments to count; Lily Morren holds her own with soaring soprano vocals and jazzy percussion chops. Silas Johnson started cello lessons at age 3, and has performed with The Johnson Strings to sold out crowds in Branson and abroad. Joe Xiques is a songwriter and producer who has travelled the world playing bluegrass music on a plethora of instruments. Lead vocalist Carver Bowers dazzles with Sinatra-esque vocals and has entertained audiences all across the USA with his musical family.
The unique fusion of jazz, classical, folk, and pop influences has made this group an absolute must-see for all music lovers. Their dynamic performances and laid-back, genuine connection with audiences is worth experiencing for yourself! You can find them on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, or at their website: youngoriginalband.com
Benjamin Morren, affectionately known as "Ben"
A piano prodigy from the tender age of 8, Ben has spent his life traveling the world, delighting audiences with his multi-instrumental mastery, producing records for Gospel artists, and writing a vast catalog of original compositions. Ben is currently full-time keyboardist on Showboat Branson Belle. Oh, and he’s married to Lily…
Lily Day Morren, affectionately known as "the only reason we like to hang out with Ben"
Lily is a masterfully emotive singer with an unbelievable vocal range. Growing up in a musical family imbued her with a deep passion for singing, and since then Lily has travelled all over the USA sharing her angelic vocals as part of a well-loved gospel trio and in various Branson theaters. She’s married to Ben.
Silas Johnson, affectionately known as "the only actual musician in the band"
Silas is a cello virtuoso with an incredibly unique musical voice. Armed with classical training from the age of 3, a knack for improvisation, and really good energy about him, Silas is a triple threat. He cut his teeth performing with his legendary family ensemble, The Johnson Strings, and has been a crowd favorite in Branson ever since.
Joe Xiques, affectionately known as "definitely better than Silas at badminton"
Joe is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter. He spent his teens arranging and performing sacred music in church, and toured across North America as a bluegrass guitarist throughout his early twenties. Like the Rick Rubin meme, Joe brings decidedly few actual skillsets to the table, but his instincts and vibes are very agreeable.
Carver Bowers, affectionately known as "Rich Uncle Penny bags"
Carver is an entrepreneur, crooner, and government informant (we think). His soaring, buttery-smooth, pitch-perfect vocals have thrilled audiences across America and beyond, and his instrumental piano albums have had viral success online. Carver grew up in a home filled with classic music, great movies, and deep thinking – influences that shaped him into the remarkable, timeless performer he is today.
The Folk Legacy Trio are George Grove and Rick Dougherty formerly with the Kingston Trio and Jerry Siggins, former lead singer of The Diamonds’. The Folk Legacy Trio sing the Great American Folksong Book™ featuring some of the most wonderful and beloved songs ever written.
Folk Legacy Trio brings together the talents of George Grove, Rick Dougherty and Jerry Siggins to sing the great songs of the folk era. These three men have been involved with the music of the great Folk Era since it's very beginning.
What have you been doing since 1971? Hemming your bell bottoms? Rebuilding your Volkswagen bus? George, Rick and Jerry have been performing the music they love at the highest levels of national and international stages.
Jerry sang with the famous Dapper Dans barbershop quartet at Disneyland parks in California, Florida and Japan. He sang with a Celtic band for a decade before joining the legendary doo-wop group The Diamonds, the ground-breaking group that recorded Little Darlin' and American Bandstand favorite The Stroll.
Rick has written dozens of songs, arranged for vocal groups and even directed opera (only under duress, he says), and hit the international stages first as Glenn Yarbrough’s replacement in The Limeliters for fourteen years and later adding his ringing tenor voice to The Kingston Trio for twelve years.
George went from being a background picker at The Grand Ole Opry almost directly into a forty-one year career as banjoist extraordinaire with The Kingston Trio.
Along the way, all three gentlemen shared stages with the best known names of the folk era: Peter Paul & Mary, Tom Paxton, Judy Collins, Barry MacGuire, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, The Chad Mitchell Trio, The Mamas & The Papas, The Association, John Sebastian, Josh White Jr, The Limeliters, Glenn Yarbrough, The Kingston Trio, Pete Seeger… Yes, this is a list of musical icons, but it is also a list of people with whom they’ve performed, traveled, written songs and shared meals. These are the friends and memories The Folk Legacy Trio bring to life with the memorable and exciting music of the Great American Folksong Book™

Rockland Road is a street just outside Nashville. It’s a studio where countless hit records have been recorded. It’s a crossroads where country, gospel, pop, R&B and Americana music has coexisted and thrived for years. It is also a vocal-driven, melodic band with a signature sound as rich and authentic as its namesake.
Rockland Road is six musicians who share the last name Martin—representing four generations of musical heritage—all vocalists who among them play 23 different instruments. It is a powerhouse group featuring soulful vocals imbued with a pure, exuberant joy worthy of the talented blood that flows through this family’s veins.
As they prepared to enter the studio, Rockland Road was pitched songs from some of the top writers in Nashville. One song in particular, "Mountains Up Ahead," was brought to them by their producer Greg Bieck, and they felt an immediate connection and knew they had to record it.
"We had no idea just how relevant the message would become a few months after recording it, when the world seemed to change overnight," says Jamie. "It's all about having hope in tough times."
Rockland Road infused the uplifting song with their soaring six-part harmonies, breathing life into the tune penned by Nashville songwriting giant, Marcus Hummon. It was released as their third single in February 2022.
Fueled by a mutual passion for multiple genres and longing for a fun, family-friendly musical experience for their kids, Paul and Jamie Martin began singing together in 2010 with their four children: March, Kell, Texas and Tallant. Quickly realizing that the kids all showed an uncanny knack for hearing harmonies, as well as for playing instruments, they began performing shows together.
“Our house has always been like a live jukebox, with an all-you-can-play selection of musical instruments,” says Jamie. “Music completely engulfs our lives, so our kids have never known a day without it. And that’s just how they want it.”
“We are a real family, at home or on the road, and we knew there would be an unpredictable nature to working with our kids,” Paul explains. “But they are filled with such passion, essentially breathing through the music we are creating,” he says. “It’s a given that we’re proud of them as parents, but, very quickly, we found ourselves appreciating the musical talent and the vocal skills that they contribute as fellow performers, not just as our kids. There was no other choice; we knew we had to do this with them.”
So where did it all begin? Grammy-winning artist Paul Martin, lead singer/guitarist of country-pop supergroup Exile, met and married Jamie Allen, daughter of Duane Allen, a member of Country Music Hall of Fame gospel group The Oak Ridge Boys, and Grand Ole Opry background singer Norah Lee Allen. Individually and collectively, Paul and Jamie’s four children were exposed early to a rich musical existence, and they watched as each child demonstrated God-given musical talent early on.
Regional performances began to boom, leading to appearances on national television shows like Huckabee, The Oak Ridge Boys’ “American Legion Christmas Special,” The Marty Stuart Show, Country’s Family Reunion, Gaither Homecoming and Larry’s Country Diner, and Jimmy Bowen & Friends. They’ve taken their stage show to venues as varied as the U.S. Library of Congress, the White House, the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Cruise and countless fairs, festivals and performing arts centers across the country. Additionally, Rockland Road has performed the national anthem for many major NBA, MLB and NCAA sporting events, including the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers.
After a rousing performance of “Elvira” to a packed house for The Oak Ridge Boys’ 2015 induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Billboard Magazine heralded them as “singing to the rafters,” bringing a crowd of seasoned performers and industry insiders to their feet.
Rockland Road sees every night spent onstage not just as a time to spread the joy they get from music or as a chance to share their story. Every night is an opportunity to take a new audience on a musical experience they won’t soon forget.
Through the years since the release of Little Darlin’ (1957), THE DIAMONDS have learned one important lesson—the durability of this classic rock and roll music is as much about the future as it is about the past. As a result, THE DIAMONDS continue to expand their audience to this day, performing in a variety of venues and settings worldwide. These performances include — with Symphony Orchestras, in Performing Arts Theatres and major concert halls, on cruise ships, in casinos, at county and state fairs, on tours of England, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Korea, and Japan, for benefit concerts, corporate conventions and at nightclubs. “We’ve been pleased to find a growing audience among all age groups. They love songs they can understand, remember and actually sing the words to — today, tomorrow, or even 20 years from now.”
The Diamonds' many accomplishments over the years include:
