Dear Concert Series Patrons, Thank you for your loyal support of the Morton Fine Arts Association’s 2025/2026 Fall/Winter Concert Series. We are so grateful for your commitment to the arts in our community. We want to make you aware of an unexpected construction project now underway at the Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center (BFPCA). While this work will ultimately improve the facility, it will affect the lobby area during our concert season. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate these changes together. Here are a few important details to keep in mind: Lobby construction only: The auditorium and restrooms will not be affected.
Front entrance closed: The parking lot outside BFPCA is barricaded, and the front doors will not be accessible.
Entry routes: Park in the South lot and enter through the South doors, then proceed down the back hallway to BFPCA. (Preferred)
Park on Illinois Street and enter through the old main entrance (Next to the Flag Pole), then follow the hall to the right and then left. (Preferred)
Park in the North lot and enter through the new MHS Entryway atrium, then follow the back hallway to BFPCA.
Parking during sports events: Four of the five concerts will have athletic events taking place at the high school at the same time. Parking will be tight, especially near the main entrances. Parking in the South Lot or on Illinois Street is advised, since both are less likely to be used by those attending the sporting events.
For wheelchair access, please use either the Illinois Street entrance or the North lot and enter through the new main entrance. The South lot entrance requires stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Lobby space reduced: Temporary construction walls will make the lobby smaller than usual.
Auditorium doors open at 6:00 pm: Because there will be limited space in the lobby, please plan to arrive as close to 6:00 pm as possible rather than arriving earlier and waiting in the lobby beforehand.
We sincerely apologize for these necessary adjustments and thank you for your understanding as improvements are made to the facility. Most importantly, we are excited to share another outstanding concert season with you, despite a little extra inconvenience this year. With appreciation,
